The Feminists of Shippensburg celebrate women’s history with a game of ‘Jeopardy’

Shippensburg University’s Feminists of Shippensburg hosted a game of “Jeopardy” on Feb. 16 to promote their club and teach the SU community about historical feminists.

The Shippensburg University chapter of the Frederick Douglas Institute hosted its second annual paint and sip night as part of the university’s Black History Month celebrations.

Marfan Syndrome Awareness Month: How to support

Marfan Syndrome Awareness Month is a relatively new addition to the calendar. It began with the #IKNOWMARFAN campaign, run by the Marfan Foundation in 2017.

SU students grow flowers and knowledge at APB’s Grow Your Career event

Shippensburg University’s Activities Programming Board (APB) hosted the Grow Your Career event alongside the Career Center as a part of their “4 U Week” on Jan. 23 in the CUB Great Hall. 
The event offered students an opportunity to plant a flower in a small vase that could be decorated with markers. A large variety of seeds was offered, with everything from sunflowers to cilantro.

A little bit about me.

I am currently a sophomore at Shippensburg University. My major is Communications, Journalism and Media, with a concentration in journalism. I also have a minor in political science. I am the Ship Life Editor on The Slate, the student-run newspaper, and a news writer for WSYC, the student-run radio station.
